The majority of human beings of the scientific era today lives in large metropolitans. Surrounded by concrete jungles, it is rare to live next to natural sources of water. All we see today are roads which surround our houses and we cannot separate this from our daily lives. In fact, from the Feng-shui point of view, rivers, seas and lakes are real water while roads are artificial water. That is why, just like rivers, they dictate our wealth and health. The REVERSE BOW WATER can cause you to LOOSE WEALTH and SUFFER INJURY
The Reverse Bow Water – It is not advisable to build houses where there is Reverse Bow Water (RBW). RBW has been regarded as the “Sickle” evil which denotes decline in wealth and injury. Apart from houses offending the RBW, if RBW is seen in front of, in the middle or on both sides of high-rise buildings (visible from the balcony or window), they are considered to have offended the RBW. This will bring about loss of wealth and injury to occupants. It is therefore inauspicious for the main door or the window to face the RBW. The following are the six different types of RBW roads : Semi-reverse Bow, Reverse Bow of the Metal, Earth, Wood, Water and Fire elements.
The various DIRECT BOW WATER brings wealth and auspice
The full Direct Bow Water (DBW) – the shape of the road that is directly opposite from that of the Reverse Bow Water. Some DBW looks like a belt in front of the house, just like those worn by the court officials of ancient China which are decorated with Jade and is known as the Jade Belt. However, they look more like bows on the ground. This water channel is the most auspicious among the five auspicious Bow Waters according to the elements. When the house is surrounded by this DBW, it brings about good wealth, accumulation of wealth and benefits businesses.

Houses at Y-junctions suffers from decline in wealth and bad health
Houses located at Y-junctions brings about unstable and turbulent luck to their occupants. If one of the roads in the Y-junction faces directly at your house, then it is known as Chong-sha in Feng-shui and in serious cases, occupants suffer from rapid decline in wealth, frequent illnesses, bad health, disputes or even lawsuits.
If the Y-junction does not charge directly at your house, you can place the Xuan-kong Flying Star arrangement in front of your house to determine the position of the junction. If it faces the wealth position, then you can acquire great wealth, but if it faces the decline of wealth direction, then wealth declines and does not accumulate.
Houses facing T-junctions offends evil, with unknown wealth and injury to health
Some Feng-shui books says that T-junctions brings good Feng-shui but I reckon houses, shops or buildings with T-junctions in front of them brings unknown luck and it is necessary to apply the Xuan-kong Flying Star theory to determine its auspice. From the Feng-shui point of view, houses and buildings facing T-junctions would normally have offended evil. It is necessary to determine if the road at the T-junction is in an auspicious or inauspicious. Hence, for those in the auspicious direction, then it is auspicious and vice versa for inauspicious direction. It is known in Feng-shui that those which brings about the construction of palaces are worthless, and these refer to the wealth position for charging towards wealth brings good luck while charging towards declining positions results in bad luck.
If T- junctions are able to combine with wealth arrangements, then it brings good wealth but this is detrimental to its occupants. It is feared that occupants may suffer from frequent illnesses, injuries and bloodshed.
A Hopeless Plight with bad wealth makes it unsuitable for occupation
What is a Hopeless Plight arrangement? When there is and end to the road, the end of it is considered a “Hopeless Plight” arrangement.
Hopeless Plight arrangement is a taboo in Feng-shui. Whether it is a residential house, or a building or shophouse, this type of bad Feng-shui brings about bad wealth. That is why it is necessary to avoid this type of houses when selecting one.
