Description
Maheshvara is the creator and lord of the universe who possesses extrasensory and exorcism abilities and it is believed to be more powerful than Brahma. He governs the sentient beings, in particular, the birth and death. Accompanying the Maheshvara is Parvati (aka Uma) who is the beautiful wife of the Maheshvara that possesses the power to protect the universe and all life. Maheshvara is also the cosmic dancer, so worshipping him can bring good health and wealth. Both husband and wife are seated together with their son Ganesha (elephant headed), also the god of wealth. He bestows worshippers with luck, in terms of wealth opportunities, career advancements and happy relationships. Hence, worshipping three of them can ensure a peaceful year ahead.
